Giving Allocation Programme [GAP]

A strategic plan based around giving goals that allocates resource to specific areas, projects and charities according to a pre-agreed strategy. The programme is based on the completion of a diagnostic questionnaire designed to identify areas of interest, potential recipients of giving and the degree to which a donor wishes to become involved in the charity.

Investment management

Linked with the establishment of clients' own Self Invested Charitable Trust, or alternatively a gift into the Charitable Investment Fund. Transfer of shares into trust creating tax saving opportunities for the donor. Trustee risk analysis and discussion on ethical investment policy.

 

Charitable Investment Fund:

We have established via a leading UK legal practice a Charitable trust fund to allow gifts to be made where the ultimate recipient may not be known with certainty at the time of making the gift. The donor may however wish to make an immediate gift possibly for IHT planning purposes.

Donor Financial & Tax Planning

Linking clients giving planning to their broader financial goals including inheritance issues and long term care planning for example. Strategies for estate planning, legacy planning, trust planning and income tax mitigation.

 
 

How much?

In order to provide objective advice and counsel, all revenues earned in connection with developing of our clients' giving strategy are in the form of fees based on time, expertise and the total value of assets under management. A fixed fee quote will be provided for the development of a clients charitable giving strategy.
